Last weekend I attended the Freedom Rally for Iran in Halifax.

My heart stands with the brave women of Iran, the Iranian community of Nova Scotia, and those standing up for women's rights and freedoms across the world.#MahsaAmini #Iranianwomen pic.twitter.com/KgKuQHLhZL

On Saturday, Oct 1st I attended the flag raising ceremony for Nigerian Independence Day at Grand Parade Square in Halifax. It marked the 62nd anniversary since Nigeria’s proclamation of independence from British rule on Oct 1st 1960.

🇳🇬 ❤️ Thanks for having me!@Nigerians_NS pic.twitter.com/QEitlV1yOU
